Only two tricks remain and I must win the trick containing GREEN 5. All other greens are already out (G1-4,6-9 seen), so my GREEN 5 is the last green in the game. If I lead GREEN 5 now, no one can follow suit and they can safely discard; as long as teammates avoid playing rockets, I win the trick immediately and the task is completed this trick. If instead I lead ROCKET 4 now, I win trick 9 but risk causing someone to discard their last non-rocket and end up with only rockets for the final trick, forcing them to trump my GREEN 5 and fail the mission. Therefore, leading GREEN 5 now maximizes success and immediately secures the task if teammates cooperate (which they should).

Gamma must win GREEN 5. Gamma led GREEN 5 and is currently winning. I am void in GREEN and only hold rockets. Any rocket I play will win the trick unless a higher rocket is played after me, but that also results in someone other than Gamma winning, which still fails the task. There's no legal way to avoid jeopardizing the task; however, playing the lowest rocket (ROCKET 2) minimizes impact and is the least aggressive choice.

Gamma must win the trick containing GREEN 5, but Delta has trumped with ROCKET 2 and Gamma cannot play again this trick. The only remaining chance would be Beta overtrumping, but that would also fail the task since Beta (not Gamma) would win. My play cannot fix this. With one trick left after this, I should reduce my chance of accidentally winning later if BLUE is led. Discard the higher BLUE now and keep the lowest for the final trick.

Gamma must win the GREEN 5 trick. Delta has overtrumped with ROCKET 2 and I’m last to play with only ROCKET 1 and BLUE 6. I cannot beat ROCKET 2; playing ROCKET 1 won’t help and would waste a trump. Best is to discard BLUE 6, conserving ROCKET 1 for the final trick (even though the task will fail now regardless).
